What to write to us about
- A planning question about getting between delta towns — which leg, which station, where to break a journey.
- A change you have seen — a new departure time, a bus that now stops elsewhere, a boat route that has stopped or started, a road or bridge that has opened.
- A source we should use — an official timetable page, a port notice, an airport announcement.
- Advertising on this site; choose that topic in the form.
Reporting a timetable change
Timetable reports are the most valuable messages we get, and also the hardest to check. To help us update a page quickly, please include:
- The page and the line you are writing about.
- What you saw instead, and the date you saw it.
- A link to the operator's or authority's page that shows it, if there is one.
- If there is no web page — a notice at a station, for example — say where it was and when.
We change a page once we can confirm the new information, and the section's check date changes with it. See how corrections work.
Asking about a trip
A planning question is easiest to answer when it includes where you start and finish, the dates or month, how many of you are travelling, and anything that limits your choices — a fixed flight, a border crossing, heavy luggage, small children. With those, we can point you to the legs, stations and buffers that fit, and to the operator pages where you can check today's timetable.
We answer from the same sources the site uses, so a reply may also lead to a correction on a page if your question shows that something has changed.
What we cannot do
Mekong Travel Links is an information site. We cannot book or hold seats, check whether a bus or boat has space tomorrow, or answer for a bus, boat or airline company — for those questions, contact the operator directly through its official page. We also cannot advise on visa eligibility for a particular passport; for that, use the Vietnam Immigration Department or the relevant embassy.
The details you send are used only to reply to you and are not passed to any company.
